  • One thing my husband and I did to help us think through full-timing was to create a "prospective journal". That is, we would say to each other "if we were full-timing right now, what might we be doing today?" If it was going for a walk or bike ride, we wrote that down. If it was watching something on television or cable, we wrote that down.

We had to do this because we'd never even owned an RV when we decided to sell everything and go full time. That was almost 5 years ago and we still love the 5th wheel we bought and have no regrets.

After you purchase your RV and get started on your new adventure, you should post back to let us all know how you are doing.

The most important thing to do is to have fun with all of the planning, buying your RV, and everything about it.
