- RVcrazyExplorerWe are just starting. I am 66 & hubby will be 67 in Nov. We dumped the house to fulltime.
- robsouthExplorer IIIf you can, hold on the the house until you see if you really do like full timing in an RV. Some think they do, then wind up not liking it and have to find somewhere to live. Equity is not going to build in an RV, so if you sell it later, it will be money lost, while a house may appreciate some. Just a thought.
- gboppExplorerI don't full time but, you and your DH are just kids. Go for it. :)
- MerrykaliaExplorerMost of the people that I have met didn't start until after they retired, usually around 65.
- trop-a-calExplorerJust because you are thinking of full timing, does not mean you will like it. That happens at any age, so don't feel it's your age that has anything to do with enjoying Full Timing. There are financial considerations at all ages too, but perhaps more so if you are on a budget. Full Timing is expensive, so much that it can eat through a fixed income. I wouldn't like you to get in a financial pinch at your age, so do the numbers, and remember as stick house increase in value RV's don't, they also get real small after being in a nice sized home. This is from a been there done that who saw the light after going full time and now am back to a home that is 6 times the size of an RV and increasing in value every day. Sure travel is nice, but "there's no place like home" so click your heals and don't get stuck in the tornado.
- LadyRVerExplorer IIGee, I hope not! We have been full-timing for 10 years now, I was 61 when we sold home and DH was 86.... :)

- darsbenExplorer IIGod I hope not cause I just started at 64 am 65 now. I figure I have a lot more time left in me
