You will be very pleased towing a TT with a 3/4 ton. I had a 29 ft trailer and towed it with a 1/2 ton which was rated for it. I changed to a 3/4 ton and it was sooooo much better. No more downshifting at the drop of a hat, the wind and tractor trailers did not bother it as much and braking and curves where better in the 3/4 ton. My neighbor just traded his 5th wheel for a 29 ft trailer so he went and traded his 3/4 ton in on a new Dodge 1500. Now he says he wish he had kept his 3/4 ton. Plus what happens if you decide down the road the TT is not big enough and you want to go back to a 5th wheel.
