I was in the Denver area last November and burned 30 pounds of propane on several nights and went 2 or 3 days on a tank the rest of the time. $26.00 for 30 pound refill. Plus an electric heater running most nights and a second electric heater under the holding tanks. You may not save as much as planned. You also have to be ready to abandon ship VERY quickly. If furnace problems develop you need to be ready to dump the water and winterize the system. Without the furnace blowing warm air into the holding tank area often times the tanks will freeze solid and cause great damage. RV's are designed to follow the nice weather.
