Many folks love the LazyDaze RVs which are built when ordered. They don't mass produce. They are Class C's and don't have slides. People seem to love them. You might try to get on a owner's site to read comments. Also look at owner's sites for other manufacturers. Even though these units don't have slides their re-sale is very good and they are in demand. Not everyone needs or wants slides.
Personally, I would search for a used LazyDaze Class C.

Buying new certainly doesn't eliminate problems. Buy used and these problems will have been fixed. You'll also save depreciation if buying a 2 or 3 year-old RV. Unless you buy from a retiree or full-timer, most RVs are not used very much.
If you happen to get one with slides....no, they all don't leak or have problems. You just press a button and they open and close. No big deal. We used slides for 16 years of full-timing - moving constantly and opening and closing them continually. We never had a leak or problem. You only hear of problems by those that have them. There are millions out there that don't have problems and they're not going to complain about it. :)
