I'll have to chime in here.
We plan to fulltime next year. I look forward to NOT doing any maintenance on the home. At this point, I'm in the process of fixing, cleaning and, overall, getting the house ready for sale. We are fortunate to have lived and enjoyed our home and are now debt free.....But, people must remember, you never really own your home!! You will ALWAYS pay taxes no matter what and be a slave to it.
We have enjoyed home ownership and look forward to passing on our home to some new owners.....
