Anyone using GA as a domicile or residence??
As stated in the subject line. We are contemplating using GA as we have family living there. Any Pro's or Cons? Thanks.

I have been a Georgia resident for many years. For retirees, they do not collect state income tax on retirement income. Once you pay a "title tax" of 7% (I think) of value, you only pay a license fee of about $20 annually to register vehicles. Veterans do not pay for a drivers license or to register their vehicles. No vehicle inspection. Only smog checks in metro Atlanta. Drivers license renewal every 5 years must be in person.
