Anyone using GA as a domicile or residence??
As stated in the subject line. We are contemplating using GA as we have family living there. Any Pro's or Cons? Thanks.

When I decided to buy property in Georgia.......when I found out what it would cost to register my personal vehicle, MH and Toad?
I BEAT FEET out of Georgia as fast as I could!!:B
You pay for plates based on the VALUE of each vehicle every year. It would have cost me over $3,000 a year for license plates.
Maybe if you are a veteran, disabled, or over 65 this does not apply.
I am under 65 years old and for me the cost to register my vehicles was cost prohibited. And God forbid if I decided to buy that new DP I wanted the cost per year to register would have been even more money!
DO check out the cost of registration before you leap.
