Average cargo load for retired couple fulltiming?

We are shopping for fifth wheels and are learning to gauge soooo many factors!!! How much do people carry on average, so that we can determine if a 5er is capable of hauling our stuff? Thanks fo...

As one person who goes 6-9 months at a time, I struggle to stay under 1500lbs.

That's with about 10 gallons of water, food for a couple of weeks, and tools.

I think dealers sometimes say 1500lbs total for a family. That's flat out lying, IMO.
