Banking Question

All our income is electronically deposited. What is the best financial institution to use to obtain cash without ATM charges while traveling across the USA. Thank you.

  • Walmart will give up to $100 back with a purchase. Many others also. Sam's, Costo, etc. Never had a problem.

As you go from place to place as you need cash, use grocery stores, Wal-Mart, other places as a place to get cash. I have found over the last decade that my need for cash is minimal.

When I do need cash that I can't get from normal shopping, I get $200-$300 at a pop from an ATM and consider the fee as a convenience charge and shrug it off.

A nationwide bank is you best option, or a credit union that rebates the fees.
  • I would stay with what ever bank you have and get cash back when you do your shopping. It is very easy to do this at Walmart.
  • CREDIT UNIONS...Co-Op ATM service across the entire US including all 7-11 stores...
  • Just read where WallyMart will be opening their own bank. Might be worth looking in to
