I spent last winter in Sierra Vista and loved it there. Small town yet big enough to have infrastructure (Fry's Safeway, Home Depot...) and at 4,500' elevation it's not overrun with cactus like Tucson is, and I'm not talking about saguaro cactus either. It's them danged cholla cactus YIIICK! I like the outdoors and hiking and I'll take a landscape any day that doesn't require a blood sacrifice whenever I hit the trail. I have some business in Houston this winter otherwise I'd be heading back to Sierra Vista about now.
