Keep in mind that Class Cs for full-timing will give you very little cargo space. Also, LazyDaze and others do not have enclosed holding tanks so you have to be very careful if you get caught in freezing temperatures. Good luck!

We had an opportunity to look at the Triple E Cls C/B's up in MN earlier this summer. Was impressive to see the space arrangement of the Murphy Bed option.

We like that they are a 4-season unit, which is important for our style of living.

The "RV Consumer Group" really cannot judge what is best for the individual as their criteria is different. I wouldn't go that way.

Our first rv was an old 26' Empress C class and man did we do some campin' in that,Frau Blücher and I were just looking through a bunch of pics yesterday of it and the grandboys when they were little, I look back at that rv and I could full-time in it easily but it would be a different kind of full-timing, way more mobile I think, the real beauty of that rv was I could put it anywhere and pack it up in a heart beat! We met a couple that had a Forest River 28' Forester that they loved, a real nice usable layout and the fit and finish was excellent all on a Chevy chassis, a real nice rig!!

These kind of questions appear regularly in every forum I know of. There is NO CORRECT ANSWER that fits everyone. Go to some RV shows and look, and drive, different rigs. Only YOU can answer this.

X2. It's not like asking about cars where you have the Big 3 American automakers and a few imports.

Besides the items mentioned above, you also have to take into account personal preferences. You might like a standard oven, I might prefer that space be used for storage.

Get thee to an RV show, or 2 or 3 before you buy.

Depends a lot if you are single or married and how much you love each other. 24/7 in a small space can be a test of love.

I have known people who were "full-timers" with nothing but a team of huskies and a sled.

I knew one guy who was "full-timing" with a bicycle; he called it the
"Winnebiko".

There are people who have to have a Prevost with all the bells and whistles.

You will find your niche somewhere between these extremes.
