WOW you got a guide? A few years ago our trailer was in the shop and we used Cruise America. We had to even supply our own "stinky slinky!"
I wondered how renters that were not experienced ever used their units.

The link also has orientation videos. I believe that the guide is supposed to go with every rental. My guess is that the CA location the you went to may have been hurried to turn around the MH they assigned to you and failed to replace a missing guide.
