It is possible to live frugally in an RV. But, it may not be much "fun". There is a tendency to spend more when living in a home on wheels. Part of that is the need for socialization. I spend far more on McDonald's coffee now than I did when I was not full time.
I urbandock a whole bunch. I try to avoid campgrounds until the weather becomes what most folks would believe is impossibly cold.
I'd love to travel from small town to small town--there are some truly amazing places to visit. One example is the
National Music Museum in the small town of Vermillion, S.D. The local Lions club runs a
Power and Water Campground where the first three days are free. Donations welcome!
