I have a larger one that I run in my RV when it's parked. It has a two gallon reservoir that I empty twice a week. The dehumidifier shuts off automatically when the reservoir is full. You can add a drain hose to it and run it to a sink or shower drain in your RV. If I don't run it I get a lot of mildew from the high humidity in Florida.
X2 and I'm in Coastal Georgia.
One minor consideration if you're running it in an unoccupied RV is what does the unit do after a power failure. My electronic controlled model will not restart so I sometimes enter the RV to find the dehumidifier not running. Some of the newer electronic models have a feature that will restart the unit at the same settings it had before the power failure.
