Sorry for your loss but I agree with the LP solution. By the time you pay for the diesel system for your setup and try and figure out the routing and installation it would be more cost effective to just get a bigger LP tank and use more LP and maybe get an electric supplemental heater or heaters based on your time line...I'm assuming your planning on rebuilding?? Don't over think your situation.
