Interest rates for RV loans are very low right now. I would begin the search for exactly what might fit into your plans and what might pop up on the market. Make 2-3 years of payments, work out the bugs and then pay it off come retirement.
We have no where near the amount saved you have. But we're still considering partial retirement in less than 2 years when we're 63/62. On other forums, an income of $25-$32,000 is comfortable as long as you don't have high payments in your budget.
Once we collect SS, we're going to phase out of working fulltime taking off a few months between projects. Eventually, we may get down to 1 project (18-22 wks) annually. Then DH will be able to relax between projects instead of starting a new one before the last one has finished...
