Which is why a lot of us took early retirement and have adjusted our budgets so we can do those things. Driveway parking with friends/relatives as you travel is a wonderful way to make that budget stretch a little further. We get up when it moves us, so we have gone to having 2 meals a day - brunch and early dinner. Don't miss the extra food and cuts down on the grocery outlays. Geocaching is a very good way to get a lot of entertainment for little money as well as getting you outside using both the muscles in your body and your brain.
