Electricity expense

Help-I need an estimate/range on monthly cost for Electricity at R.V. parks in a new 38' Montana? Always used our own meter for years at our mountain cabin close by and have had friends plugged in and did not ever think about what it was costing each rig. Now planning to hit the big road for a year out West and set up estimated budget. Thanks

    A big rig in a site for a month runs $100 to $150, that's with us paying the charges, so there is no incentive to keep usage down. We are in a pretty temperate area, so we don't get excessive AC usage. The killer will be if you run electric heat, that can really spin the meter.

    Unfortunately RV parks are going to be charged the commercial rate for power so it's going to be much more expensive.
