When I livedi n Portland Oregon, electric was only 9 cents per KW, so find out how much it is. My bills where about $60. If you had free electric, the average person would consume more, so the rent would have to go up, so normally it is actually less expensive to include the electric meters as a separate item, rather than the park owner saying "Everyone is going to run the A/C 24/7 and charge about 85 - $100 per site per month.
This causes everyone to conserve power, and it works out less expensive in the end.
If you budget $60, you can spend the rest on a night out to eat once a month if you come in a little low some months.
For what it is worth, at 9 cents per KW, it takes 22 KW to offset the use of one gallon of propane in the heater. So if the cost is 9 cents per KW VS $3 per gallon, you will save 2 cents by using electric. If electric is more, or if propane is more or less, you can figure it out. For what it is worth, I would rather use the electric and avoid having to refill the tanks.
