We have been fulltime traveling now in our 14th year. For whatever routine stuff they do, you can't beat WalMart. Seriously, a 14 qt. Rotella oil change, filter and lube for $60? I can barely do it for that. And please skip the political mumbo-jumbo. WM is slowly pricing themselves out of the market, but that's another discussion.
As far as emergent care, it's a ****shoot. You are where you are and beholden to whomever you are closest to. It's part of what we travelling fulltimers do. If'n you are going to embrace this lifestyle, get used to it or don't. It really is that simple.
We've always found CW to be overpriced both in terms of goods and services. We don't go there.

I guess that may be true if one limits themselves to RV parks. We prefer more off the beaten path situations. For example, we had a specific need for a service but have spent the last 3 months in Corps of Engineer parks with NO mobile service available. I'll correct that to state that there was one guy 34 miles away who wanted $150 just to make the trip. Uhh, no thanks. I went online and taught myself how to solve the problem (sticking slide). All part of the process! And that's another VERY important point. The more you can do on your own is all to the better. I've saved thousands over the years.
