My thinking was to have a place that could be used in winter if needed and or rented out when not in the area. Say we plan to winter in florida and not AZ.
Was wanting to get info on both place if you know of them, the good and bad and your experience with these type of places, or other place you know of that are in the same cost range,, 12K to 25K with monthly fees around sub 200 dollar range.

IMO, I would not purchase in either area. Florence is nice but quite a bit out from many services. Ditto for Casa Grande. Neither is a 'popular' destination for a short term rental. Most people want to be closer to Phoenix and/or Tucson. I agree - save the money until you really feel like you want to buy a lot for YOU that is not dependent on renting.
