Financially, it's much better to rent. The two places you mentioned are not the best Arizona has to offer. Why would you want something that just about forces you to return to the same place year after year? There is so much to see in this beautiful country. Try different areas out. Try different states out.
If you buy and find out you really don't like the park or location, RV lots are not that easy to sell.
You are right about being hard to sell which make them easy to buy... if you know what i mean :)
I understand what you are saying about these not being the best parks in AZ. But I am not able to afford the best Az has to offer at this time.. (200 million powerball coming up so that might change) so I have to look where i can afford. I have been talking with a fellow that owns in the casa grand place and speaks very highly of it.
I told him I was looking to buy and the other place was not all that great from what he had experienced in visiting and i do believe staying there, so I became more intrested in Sunscape.
Do you know of a better place with lots under say 20K? I am intrested in any place that folk have visited and liked and would buy at.
I am looking not to have a place I HAVE to go back to every year just a place I would like to go back to every couple of years and maybe rent the lot during other times, winter and summer.
I own or have owned Timeshare in South Africa and never have set foot on the property. I know timeshare and RV lots, especially ones not in something like a coast to coast, 1000 trails etc limit your ability to use them so I am looking at both avenues. RV lots and campground membership, C2C and RPI (resort parks International) for under 500 bucks buyin and appx 300 per year fees.
