Full Timers with place to "land" aka RV park or Lot?

I just don't understand why you would put $20,000 plus maintenance fees into a RV lot and possibly only use it every couple of years. Also, you most likely would not be renting it out in summer. If you want to visit Arizona in the winter you can rent for six months for approximately $2,000 total. You could move around to different areas and not be confined to one. Just a suggestion.......
