We travel with 3 small dogs one is a rescue. State and Federal campgrounds will allow you with no issue. Although they are right there are many private campgrounds that put restrictions on there still are some that don't. We are spending the winter in SW Fla. in a park that is dog friendly period. Common sense things pick up after etc. My dogs will bark when someone knocks on the door or when they kick up a rabbit. They are always on their leash. As far as folks that don't like dogs they should go to the parks that don't allow them. Your bigger problem is finding a warm weather park at this late date can be done but choices are getting less.
