OP - Don't take this personally, but prior to spending a long time, week or more, at a campground we ask to see the site they are putting us. If I was to go to my site and you were there with 8 dogs, I'd leave the campground. I've had a lot of bad experiences with dog owners that don't take care of one dog never mind 8!!! And it is the dog owner.....Not the dog!!
Now, I've also come across dog owners that are very good with their dogs and respect other campers when it comes to taking care of there dogs, but they are the few. We also travelled with our dogs and let me tell you, you'd never know that there was a dog in our motorhome. She was extremely quite and well behaved....
