Future full timer questions. Sorry if this is a repeat
Good day all. I am so excited to find this forum. I have been watching and following a bunch of youtube nomadics for several years and last year decided when my youngest is off to college (3 years) I am going to sell the house and start traveling. I will be 42 years old. I am in IT and a lot of my work is remote so as long as I have an internet connection I can work and maintain my income. I also contract with dozens of companies to provide hands-on support to local branches of national chains. I have spoken to many of them and all of them have agreed they would work with me and as long as I gave them some notice as to where I was going to be based out of a week or so in advanced they assured me they could keep me working. Most of the money from the hands-on work will be extra money as I can live off the remote work I think pretty comfortably once full timing.
My plan is to boondock as much as possible in BLM land/Parks/Walmarts (where allowed) and occasionally an RV park. The tools I would need could be carried in the storage section of a moped with a backpack for what won't fit in the moped. I am not set on a moped or anything in particular. A small tow car would probably be best though if class C was the choice.
I am just under 6' and prefer to be able to stand up. A decent bathroom is a must-have. I don't plan on going out anywhere crazy but would like to utilize remote camping. I love to cook so the kitchen has to be decent.
What kind of RV would you guys recommend for my situation? I do not want a class A and I do not want a van or car. Definitely either a Class C/B, pull behind or the fifth wheel. I am comfortable towing a vehicle behind a class C.
For the record, I figured this would have been asked a million times but I searched the forums and found nothing. Sorry if this is a repost.
