The hanging sweater bags provide a lot of shelving, too. You could put in a corner of your bed and staple to wall all the way to ceiling. I did this in our bathroom and it provided great storage for towels and makes good use of vertical space. ....I tried to post picture but couldn't get it to work. This is my company computer so it has restrictions!
