My wife was apprehensive at first. After 6 months she said she's glad we did this and does not miss the house.
She appreciates the simplicity of the way things are now. We sold our house fully furnished so we parted with possessions all at once. Things she once thought she could never part with are now considered just stuff. Nothing more.
We don't jump around a lot. Our intent is to move with the seasons. Spending a minimum of a month at one place may happen, but we'll mostly stay put for several months at a time. She likes that stability.
