I would not be able to FT. I like being available to help the kids, and participate in the grandkid's activities. I never wanted to be thought of as the parents that you can't count on, because they were gone somewhere. I always thought the best FT'ers were the ones that didn't have families. Skype and FB just aren't the same thing. Who wants to be known as Granma Skype?
