Having a hard time with full timing

In our travels we have run into many full timers. Most seem to be happy with their decision, but my wife has made it ubber clear that we will not EVER cut ties with our home base. I accept that and see the advantages of having a stationary place called home!

I understand that this is just not an option for some folks financially because they use/used their home equity to hit the road.
