Help with picking an insurance carrier

We have used Progressive for six years for our MDT truck and fiver! I have checked periodically for competitive rates and have not beaten theirs yet!

This is off topic, but either contact a lawyer in the state where you want to reside, or contact Escapees and read their "Becoming a Texan" piece (for members only - its cheaper than a lawyer)

I have National General on our truck and car through Good Sam. Be careful...we are in a battle with them right now.

Our brand new car was backed into in a parking lot and the person left...we have a $3,500 repair with a $500 deductible. They are refusing to pay for a new fender which is buckled...they want to repair it and we are standing our ground. Will NOT except a shoddy repair on a car I've made two payments on!!

Needless to say when this is over we will be looking for a different insurance carrier for our vehicles.

Thanks for the replies, y'all. I went to Miller and a couple of other agencies and was pleased with Miller. They got me a good deal with National General for both truck and RV.

We've been happy with Blue Sky for two years. As long as prices remain competitive we'll continue (so far they have been competitive on truck & 5vr)

Don't believe anything Blue Sky tells you! We got a quote and when we called to book the policy they said that "just that day" they had a price increase which doubled the price quoted. What an amazing coincidence!
We remain with Progressive after National Insurance also raised our premium about 50% when we changed residency from FL to SD.

Check with Miller Insurance Agency as they can select a policy that fits your situation.

Don't forget about getting Fulltimer's Liability Insurance.

I wanted both my truck and my 5er to be insured by the same company so there would be no fighting if both were involved in some kind of accident or other calamity. I ended up with National Interstate for that reason. Plus, they have specific insurance for fulltimers.
