Insurance carriers

I just renewed ours theough FMCA. Our car and rig was around $1400 for both. Saved close to $1000 over current policies with same coverage. I even have now 100% glass with no deductable.

we’ve got SF as well and our annual premium is ~ $1100. but all of our vehicles and our home are insured with SF.

There are so many variables involved in vehicle insurance rates, it's difficult to compare your rates with anyone else. Vehicle make/model/mileage, address, credit rating, driving history, and of course the coverages chosen, are just some of the factors insurance underwriters use in determining individual rates. Getting quotes from multiple companies/brokers are the only valid comparisons.

We use AAA. At the time we switched, AAA was much cheaper than previous insurance.

Do shop around and make sure you are quoted the same (or better) coverage. Also, talk to a State Farm agent to review your current policy. See if there are any other discounts available. For example, we found out by accident when talking to a AAA agent that after we got married, we were eligible for an additional auto insurance discount! Didn't know that.

AARP.

We found the best price through AARP which uses Hartford. We have house, cars and RV through them.

Try Progressive, you can get a quote on line. Been a money saver on all our vehicles for 8 or more years. We have an old '93 class C, full coverage at $300.00 per year. ($250 deductable)

I used State Farm for the first year after I bought my current coach, as it is what I have used on my personal car for many years, and I get a number of discounts. The rate was slightly lower than what you are paying, but my coach is a 2002 model so slightly older. I comparison shopped for the second year, and found All State was nearly half the price of State Farm for me in Louisiana (we have similar stats otherwise, though I am a couple of years younger)

The 'bus' insurance market is getting very limited. National Interstate stopped covering the bus market. We were able to secure a policy with Safeco.

Since the value of the coach has gone down, our policy premium went down some, full coverage, $1K diminishing deductible.
