Insurance carriers
My insurance is due and I am trying to shop around. I have state Farm now and it is $1226.00 a yr with $500 deductibles. This seems high to me, what do ya'll think? I am 55 and clean driving record. C...

I completely rebid insurance every 2 or 3 years. For over a decade no one could beat Progressive on all my vehicles. This past fall I went through my usually bidding process and Farmers (via Foremost owned by Farmers for the RV) cut my insurance bill by BIG dollars for the same, or in some cases, better levels of coverage. My motorhome was one of the biggest drops going from around $1200 a year to under $800 with better coverage. And frosting on the cake is I now actually have a local agent to deal with.
Can't say what they will do for anyone else, but they are worth a shot.
