Help with picking an insurance carrier

Next decision I have to make before going full time...which insurance carrier would be best for auto and RV insurance? Any complaints or good stories about the following?

Allied, Blue Sky or National General? I've gotten quotes from all three and have to make a decision by the 21st of the month. State Farm will no longer insure my truck when I no longer have a S&B home. So many decisions...so little time!

Thanks for any help you can give me!

  • how about progressive or geico insurance for full time RV? We had planned to go full-timing in some 4-6 yrs but was going to keep house (rental income) so that might make the whole insurance issues less complicated for me.
  • Have had National Interstate for almost 10 years. Good company. Look into full replacement cost too.
  • I am just like emaav. State Farm would not insure my 5'er after I sold my s&b, but my truck isn't a problem. I have it insured with State Farm like I always have and my 5'er is insured with Progressive.
  • We have State Farm for the truck and car but the 5ver is through Progressive.
