Insulating Curtains ?

Are store bought "Insulating curtains" worth it? DW is wanting to big $$$ to buy quilted material and make curtains for our mh. I've priced the curtains available for "real homes" and there is a substantial savings. But...will they help keep, mainly cold temps, at bay?
