All depends on YOUR definition of "neat places". When we moved up from our 25 footer to our 34 foot trailer we have to give up some of our favorite disbursed camping areas due to the tight road conditions they required to get there. A few other cases we simply wouldn't physically fit into the sites in some of our favorite NFS, BLM etc. campgrounds and had to give them up also. Didn't loose very many though and we always considered the compromise to be well worth the improved living conditions. It's a decision each person must make based on what's important to them. We still cam camp on the beach, in the forest and on the mountain side with no problems. One OTHER thing to keep in mind is that regardless of where you choose to camp there will always be more spaces available for a small trailer as opposed to your 40 footer. Small trailers can (and will) use your 40 foot sites but you can't use their 25 foot sites.
