Don't like the necessary upkeep on home......RVs have same upkeep needs
Don't like being in same location.........RV is going to be parked with some travel. Why can't you travel now?
Cold weather...........RVs (arctic packages, 4-season rated etc.) have less heat retention capabilities than homes. We full timed for 7 yrs. YES you can stay roasty-toasty just have to burn thru A LOT of propane. AND worry about pipes/tanks freezing.
1700 sg.ft to 280 sg. ft living space...it was great for the 2 of us. 4 of you 2 of which are kids???
Sure kids adjust/families full time etc.
Rent a RV........go for a month trip see how that works out for you
