So, the Co. shipped your order, then you cancelled the order.
The order showed up anyway, because it had shipped before you cancelled it.
And that means the Co that shipped it to you, before you changed your mind should pay for your part?
Doesn't sound like a free part to me. Sounds like you ripped someone off and are happy about it.
Did the Co. say "don't bother shipping it back or paying for it"?
If they did, then congratulations on the free part.
"So, I looked around, and on Wednesday night (very late mind you, after tearing apart the bathroom) I found a replacement part on Amazon for $25 + $4 overnight shipping. Not bad! Certainly a lot better than $200."
Looks like he did his part. Paid for overnight. Maybe he should get it for free? Who screwed up first? Amazon. Doesn't sound like he was out to create the criminal enterprise of a lifetime and rip Amazon.
I have had the same issue with Amazon a few times and with others. It's not all bad as it may help Amazon evaluate the situation and either stop offering it or find a way to ensure it doesn't happen.
if they say 2 days it should be 2 days not 4 and an or we are so sorry.
