I used to own a Rottweiler. Sadly, she died many years ago. We took her RVing to State Parks and never gave it a thought and were never questioned but when we bought our first house, the insurance company asked if we had any dogs. We had her and a Cocker Spaniel. They did not want to provide insurance for us. I firmly told them that she is a registered pet therapy dog, licensed to go into hospitals, nursing homes, and travel in the passenger compartment of an airplane and you tell me that you won't cover us because of her? Well, they covered us. Something to consider and ask for proof to carry along if you go this route of training her. Just a thought. I am against breed specific laws because I've seen many dogs not on these lists but are on other lists for being biters.
