Yes that breed is number one on the breed restriction list and the one that the CG's usually will not make exceptions for because of their insurance provider.
It is also regional which CG stick hard and fast to these rules. The south east of the Mississippi being the strictest.
Puppy mills and animal abuse abounds in the south so many laws past in this region are 'very' strictly worded. Plus Kansas and Iowa on the west. There is one state that completely bans this breed. Do a search, I can not remember which state it is.
The dog show people were aghast at this. Meaning that just traveling thru this state to get to a show in another state would be an infraction. :R
Start here for info on your breed that will give you a general idea:

That said. State and Federal CG's normally do not have breed restrictions. Boondocking is another alternative. I.E BLM land etc.
It will be challenging at best for you to find a CA, but you will find the occasional CG that will accept your dog. KOA CG's welcome pets and I have been told by one KOA that they have no restrictions. But I did not research the validity of that info if it pertains to everyone across the US.
The Good News Is::B
Many states have filed discrimination law suites. So make sure you look at the dates of the statutes and pending court cases.
