Thanks again for the tips.
We had only been looking at extended stay parks and resorts in the Woodall's book. I'll start looking at state parks today.
Our dog is very friendly and well behaved. We have raised her since she was just months old. Our son rescued her and brought her home. We had heard the stories and bought into the fear about the breed, but as we got to know her, we grew to love her. By the time our son moved out, we had developed such a bond with his dog that she became ours. We are responsible dog owners. Our dog is a good traveller, I can't imagine our dog causing trouble.
It sounds like we can find places to stay, and the breed specific laws in the US don't sound as draconian as they are in Ontario. We are very relieved.
