No laundry. Takes up too much space and weight. I can do four loads at a campground laundry in about an hour that would take hours and hours in a MH w/d. And, we don't spend enough time hooked up to water and electricity to make it worth while.
We don't. Storage is such a premium. I would rather spend an hour or so at the laundrymat. And most campgrounds have laundry facilities so really not much of a hassle.
No laundry. We're full-time and needed the space. Plus most feedback we had prior to starting our journey led us this way. After 8 months, we still are happier using the laundry's rather than giving up the space. It's just one more thing you can do together (or not)??
We don't. Storage IS at a premium, we boondock 90% of the time therefore it would use up all our water (and not sure the dryer would run on a generator). I LOVE going to laundromat and having everything done in 2 hours.
Here's food for thought.....are you planning to go to RV parks??? We've seen in the RULES of a couple of parks that we're not to use our washer/dryers (if we have them). I can imagine it takes a lot of electricity and the smaller parks may have septic problems if everyone used them. My guess...not sure why.
We use ours more days than we don't. There is a learning curve to using a combo unit. It will never be the same as two separate home style units but it does the job for us and we wouldn't want to give it up.
We don't because we want to stay small plus we're rarely hooked up. We have enough clothing for about three weeks. A trip to the laundromat only takes a couple of hours so it's not a big problem to use one.
