Good to know. If a cg doesn't have laundry facilities, I find them by asking the locals at the stores. They tell me which ones are the cleanest-safest.

To make laundry simpler, we pack lights, darks, and mediums. No whites, no reds. So that's two less loads.

We do not ever sit in a laundramat and watch the machines work our clothes. If someone steals them, we get to buy new ones!

. We've been looking for you. (Kidding). It's pretty irritating when machines are full, clothes are done and no-one around. Glad you're conscientious enough to leave dessert to get yours.

We converted to almost all colored clothes. Never had a problem with liquid detergent spilling but will now that I have mentioned it.
We take enough clothes so we can go for two weeks without washing.
Anything with wrinkles in we hang outside to blow wrinkles out or put on hangers in the shower.
We prefer to use laundromats and get everything done at once. Their large dryers usually mean the clothes come out wrinkle free.

Instead of dryer sheets we use "dryer balls" - you can get plastic ones in various stores, but DW made some felt ones too. They go in the dryer and soften the clothes (I guess by bouncing against them, don't know the science).

We use the laundromats usually those in town as opposed to the park. Why, it's so fun to view the local wildlife. Sunday 10 am is a great time. 2 loads in and out 45 min total. Every week
