said, folks that have them love them. I said for us, we can't get it for the reasons shown. Why be sarcastic? That machine can be heard at night; you're just used to it. If you can handle the regular laundry handling that's great. Enjoy life the way you choose as we do.

We ordered our 5th wheel with no W/D. Full timing now three yeas and use laundromat every 1 to 2 weeks. In and out in 2 hrs or maybe a little more, all dry and folded. Many posts from folks who seem to love their on board machines, but we've never been able to grip having to do laundry on board with the laundry detergent odor, having to take up the space for folding, it would be an almost daily exercise, always thinking about the next load, background washer or dryer noise, ... No, no, no. Get it done and forget it for two weeks is the way to go.
What noise? Most times I forget it is going - - we often set it on delayed start when going to bed (especially when doing towels) so it starts & finishes just before we get up. Never, ever has woken us up. Now maybe people who don't get it leveled correctly have some problems. Space for folding - I put the clothes on the bed, fold and put away in the drawers & closet next to the bed. Detergent odor - get fragrance free. And the softener odor goes OUTSIDE through the vent - so no odor in the rig. Thinking about the next load - 'Oh look, basket it full, start load when we go to bed'. Yes, that's a lot of work.
Sorry to sound sarcastic, but really the 'problems' you listed are none existent.

Wrinkles happen because people don't take the time to learn how to use it properly. Most overload or don't get it balanced right - 2 of everything. Nibbed blue balls work well to help separate articles as they dry - fluffs them up. Take anything that might need to be ironed out while just a little damp, shake and hang up. No iron needed.

Small capacity and hungry power needs of W/D units limit you.
In the full time/ long time world of RVing, the space is likely better utilized for other purposes.
Also consider cost ( in your unit ) and time. You'll likely find it much more cost and time effective to use a laundromat.
