Money making on the road

Can someone explain how to make a living while fulltiming? I really want to travel in an rv but I still need to make money, any ideas?
  • I have a feeling that most of the full timers on here are retired people who have worked hard their whole lives, saved their money and can now go out and live the way they want. Dont take this the wrong way, but life isnt a bed of roses......

Im 18 my work experience os my dads restaurant, I am a practising photographer but that will only get me so far. Im looking to live my dream and get away from it all. Cliche? Maybe.

Have you saved enough money towards your dream so far to be able to actually buy an RV of some kind and maybe take it on the road for, say, a month?
  • I made a post on facebook one time and was hired the next day. Look at your contacts my friend. Hope this helps.

Thank you for this, but may I ask what you do for a living? I see you're a full-timer.

I've done sugar beets, amazon, campgrounds. But that really doesn't matter. What matters is what you're good at, or willing to try, or able to find.

You're not providing much info about yourself so some folks on this forum may be skeptical (me included). We've had folks who couldn't hack it in college, or just got divorced or just lost a job and house. They all thought RVing would be a cheap way to live but it's not that simple. So, they make 1 post and we never hear from them again.

Look at Cool Jobs, a lot of temporary. Home Depot will allow you to transfer to another store after 6 months. What is your job experience? My DH is semi retired, he was a grocery mgr. We've been fulltime for over 8 years, he usually works 5 to 6 months of the year and we travel the other months. He has used his experience to work through those busy holiday times.

This is all well and good but when I say fulltiming I mean it haha. This won't work for me but thanks anyway!
