Looking for a "retirement vehicle" back in 2001, we were almost hooked on a 5th wheel...and a F-350 extended cab diesel dually.
Then...we discovered gas motorhomes for just about the same price. Already had a car, that (by pure happenstance) could be a 4-down "toad". Never looked back.
