Since both sites are the same monthly cost, I'd start in an RV Park. Partially off-grid really means going solar, generator and composting toilet. Electric Power is only needed as a back-up.
But all of those are a large initial expense, just like paying to run your own utilities. Watch a few episodes of "Buying Alaska" to see how a dry cabin works with outhouses, no running water inside, etc.
Going organic can also be accomplished by leasing that acre separately until you see if you enjoy digging in the dirt, canning and drying your own food. Then you need to find a place for storing all your goods, since TT's are usually short on storage space.
