Places in San Diego?
Hello friends, Moving to San Diego this fall. It appears parks are getting good $ Anyone know of good places to be long term? Would love to find a more private type setting. Thanks

To get lower prices and more space, you'll likely need to look east and north of the city. One other thing you might try - search from time to time on the San Diego Craigslist site. Under "housing" sometimes private parties will list RV pads for rent on their property. I looked at a couple a few year ago but the locations just did not work for me.
Some smaller, off the beaten track RV parks sometimes advertise there as well.
We LOVED Bernardo Shores. Truly sorry to see it go! Someone mentioned Champagne Lakes. That's between Escondido & Temecula. Very nice facility but longer drive with lots of traffic. The SD area has quite a few RV parks. My advice would be to make the decision of where you want to really settle in after you get to the area & really look the places over.
