You gotta shop around! The big chains tend to have a policy of listing chronic generic mediations for $4 per month, flat rate. A few chains offer certain antibiotics, especially for children But there is a flip side, since the stores have to make a profit. These same chains will often sell non-generic medication or less often prescribed medication for prices many times what the independent corner pharmacy will bill. So you really must shop around to get the best prices on your chronic medications.
